During my tests, Malwarebytes scored a 95% malware detection score, which, while better than most free antiviruses, wasn’t quite as good as contenders like Norton, or even other truly free antiviruses like Avira. It also lacks real-time protection, which both Avira and Panda offer on their free plans.
