However, Private VPN is a very minimalistic VPN that lacks many extra features. For example, it doesn’t have an ad, tracker, and malware blocker. It’s also the only VPN on this list without split-tunneling, which lets you choose which traffic goes through the VPN tunnel and which uses your regular internet connection. Split-tunneling is useful because it lets you download torrents using a SOCKS5 proxy or VPN without affecting your other online activities.
