ZenMate, the online VPN provider, announced a new partnership with CyberGhost VPN to enhance the experience of its subscribers.
Zenmate was founded by entrepreneurs who had the goal of enhancing users’ online privacy and security. However, to provide even better services, the company has reviewed its product development capabilities and joined forces with CyberGhost VPN.
“We’ve decided to pursue an engineering partnership that champions the quality and reliability present in our DNA,” ZenMate said in a letter to subscribers “We didn’t need to look very far: Our developers will be joining forces with CyberGhost VPN.”
While ZenMate accounts and subscriptions remain unaffected, the VPN service will be provided by CyberGhost VPN’s mobile and desktop apps starting from March 16. ZenMate VPN apps will be supported until May 1. After this date, all ZenMate paying subscribers will be required to log into a CyberGhost VPN app to access their VPN service.
Under this new partnership, ZenMate subscribers are receiving several benefits provided by CyberGhost VPN. This includes one of the biggest server networks on the market with over 9,000 servers in 91 countries, fast connection speeds, servers optimized for streaming, torrenting, and gaming, and useful extra features like an ad and malware blocker, split tunneling, and customizable connection preferences.
Also, CyberGhost VPN has a strict no-logs policy that’s been independently audited and confirmed — this proves the provider doesn’t store user data. Plus it uses 256-bit AES encryption, which is the same level of encryption used by banks and governments.
It is important to note that ZenMate will continue to manage paid subscriptions and handle all customer support inquiries. Members of the CyberGhost VPN support team will not be able to assist with ZenMate support questions as they need access to subscriber account information. Therefore, ZenMate recommends that subscribers log into their accounts and download CyberGhost VPN immediately to ensure they benefit from all the new features.
