Safety Detectives: Please share your company background, how you got started, and your mission.
Hacknoid: We started working on information security 20 years ago, doing workshops, consultancy services and ethical hacking.
We are focused now on delivering a substantial practical way to manage vulnerabilities in the cybersecurity area, and specifically on how to deal with vulnerabilities around a company, in a way that 24×7 managers can have a picture of the cybersecurity health of the organization, in a simple view.
Our deep knowledge of the cybersecurity market lends us to have a good understanding of what companies really need and what really helps to manage and also to improve every day, supported by adequate tools.
SD: What is the main service your company offers?
Hacknoid: Ethical hacking as a service. We have an owner platform that helps the company to maintain a proactive view of vulnerabilities and added to our services you can have an online ethical hacking or a premium vulnerability scanner, not only for technicians but also for managers with a simple language for their understanding.
SD: What is something unique that helps you stay ahead of your competition?
Hacknoid: Focus on managers first to improve times for resolutions because they know better what is critical for business continuity and market competitiveness.
SD: What do you think are the worst cyberthreats today?
Hacknoid: New everyday vulnerabilities that make an impossible ride to win for security officers. The impossibility to reach a good seal for our companies to be confident with the state of maturity that we have because technology is changing every day and with them, vulnerabilities appear. Also the need for automation of all tasks that could be automatized, so we can redirect specialized human resources to those that need intelligence or manual technics.
