NUTS Technologies: NUTS Technologies is a data privacy and management company researching and developing technologies to bring data privacy to the masses in an intuitive way. It started with our founder, Yoon Auh, simply wanting to manage and organize his digital life in a private way without the intrusion of ‘free’ centralized services offered by the Internet giants. Quickly, Yoon realized that the available solutions in the market lacked a simple way to keep his data organized across his digital devices and to keep that data secure and private in a consistent way, in an independent way.
Hence, NUTS Technologies was started with the mission to provide data privacy and security to the masses. He invented solutions that directly solve these issues for everyday people and businesses. NUTS is currently working on a production release after the successful release of a beta product.
SD: What is the main service your company offers?
NUTS Technologies: Data security and the precise control of it by the data owner. We offer an application that allows computers to communicate with each other over any communication channel and privately share data with other parties in novel ways. The protection of the data is ensured by its unique secure data container called a nut file.
SD: What is something unique that helps you stay ahead of your competition?
NUTS Technologies: We offer secure data portability and anonymity through the use of proprietary data containers and no dependencies on third-party systems. Think of how the modern shipping container has transformed the global physical supply chain industry. Our secure nut data container is revolutionizing data storage, management, and protection technologies in a significant way for everyone’s benefit. No one thinks about data like we do.
SD: What do you think are the worst cyberthreats today?
NUTS Technologies: The lack of a common and simple solution for everyday people and small businesses to protect their own data. The expectations of people to become pseudo-cyberspecialists to protect their own data is unrealistic. The available solutions out there are limited in scope, they do not interoperate with anything and are generally not integrated. Data privacy should be available by default to everyone in a simple-to-use manner. NUTS delivers on these promises.
