Both VPNs provide strong security. They both come with industry-standard VPN security features, including:

On distant servers, my ping increased noticeably with both VPNs, but I only experienced minor lag, which didn’t get in the way of my game.
Unfortunately, neither VPNs’ servers are equipped with anti-DDoS protection. This means that while both VPNs will protect you from attempts to DDoS your IP address directly, attackers can still DDoS the VPN server you’re connected to, which might force you to change to a different server.
