SafetyDetectives recently had the opportunity to interview Liparit Avagyan, the founder of WPGlob. As a passionate advocate for WordPress innovation, Liparit created WPGlob to help developers gain visibility and navigate the competitive plugin market. In this discussion, he shares insights into the biggest challenges developers face, key security measures for plugin development, and how users can identify high-quality plugins. He also provides a glimpse into the future of the WordPress ecosystem and WPGlob’s role in shaping its growth through strategic partnerships and community-driven initiatives.

Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role at WPGlob?

I am Liparit, the founder of WPGlob. My passion for WordPress and digital innovation led me to create a platform where we simplify WordPress for everyone.

WPGlob is known for helping WordPress plugin developers grow and gain visibility. What are the biggest challenges developers face in this competitive market?

The WordPress plugin market is highly competitive, and developers face several key challenges. It’s really hard to stand out in such crowded market. With thousands of plugins available, getting visibility is tough. Developers need strong marketing, SEO-optimized listings, and compelling value propositions to attract users. At WPGlob, we help plugin developers navigate these challenges by providing marketing strategies and expert insights to help them grow.

Security is a major concern for WordPress site owners. What steps should plugin developers take to ensure their products are secure and don’t introduce vulnerabilities?

Yes, security is a top priority for WordPress site owners. Here are key steps that I think developers should take to ensure their plugins are secure: Follow WordPress coding standards, perform security audits and code reviews, also make sure to implement secure authentication methods.

With thousands of plugins available, it can be overwhelming for users to choose the right one. What advice would you give WordPress users to identify high-quality and reliable plugins?

Here’s my advice to help users identify high-quality and reliable plugins. First of all, make sure to check ratings and reviews, then examine the Support and Documentation. Review the plugin’s features to make sure it meets all your needs. And of course, choose plugins from trusted sources.

How do you see the WordPress ecosystem evolving in the next few years, and what role does WPGlob play in shaping this growth?

We can expect several key trends in the coming years. AI and automation will play a bigger role, helping with content creation, SEO, and customer support. As WordPress evolves, WPGlob remains committed to supporting developers, businesses, and users to make the most of the platform.

What’s next for WPGlob? Are there any upcoming projects, partnerships, or innovations you’re particularly excited about?

.At WPGlob, we’re always looking for new ways to improve the WordPress ecosystem and create value for our community. We’re excited about the potential for partnerships with other leading players in the WordPress space. We’re expanding our efforts to build a stronger community of WordPress developers, users, and businesses. So, stay tuned for more updates!
