Its Threat Protection Pro feature is not only an ad, tracker, and malware blocker, it also scans the files you download for malware and removes any malicious files that it detects. Most other VPN ad blockers don’t include a malware scanner. Note that this isn’t a replacement for a good antivirus software, but it’s still very useful to have. However, I had better results blocking ads with Private Internet Access‘s MACE and ExpressVPN‘s Advanced Protection.
