Fraud is evolving at an unprecedented pace, costing businesses billions every year. With traditional fraud prevention methods struggling to keep up, innovative solutions are needed to detect and prevent fraudulent activity before it happens. That’s where Sensfrx comes in.

Founded by Jinendra Khobare, a seasoned IT and product development expert with over 14 years of experience, Sensfrx is redefining fraud prevention with AI-driven behavioral analytics, device fingerprinting, and real-time decisioning. Sensfrx’s mission isn’t just to catch fraud—it’s to stop it before it impacts businesses and consumers alike.

In this exclusive interview with SafetyDetectives, Jinendra shares his journey into fraud prevention, how Sensfrx stands out in a competitive landscape, and what businesses can do to stay ahead of increasingly sophisticated AI-powered fraud threats.

Can you share a bit about your journey into fraud prevention and what led you to focus on this critical area?

Fraud is evolving faster than ever, costing businesses billions annually. With over 14 years in IT and product development, I’ve always been drawn to solving complex challenges. As the digital economy expanded—even in developing nations—I saw fraud rising, costing businesses money, trust, and customers. Traditional fraud prevention methods weren’t keeping up, and I knew something had to change.

Determined to build a smarter solution, I founded Sensfrx—not just to detect fraud, but to prevent it in real-time. By leveraging behavioral analytics, machine learning, and adaptive decisioning, Sensfrx empowers businesses to stay ahead of threats and grow with confidence.

But fraud prevention isn’t just about protecting money. Fraud’s impact extends beyond financial loss—it affects mental health, trust in institutions, and societal well-being. By stopping fraud before it happens, we’re not only securing businesses but also helping create a safer, more trusting society.

What makes Sensfrx unique in the fight against online fraud?

Sensfrx stands out in fraud prevention by combining real-time decision-making, customizable fraud policies, and seamless integrations. Unlike traditional solutions that rely on static rules, Sensfrx leverages adaptive AI to analyze behavioral patterns and device fingerprints, detecting fraud in real-time.

AI-Powered Device & Browser Fingerprinting: Traditional fingerprinting methods fail when fraudsters use VPNs, incognito mode, or device spoofing. Sensfrx goes beyond standard techniques by creating persistent device identities, even when fraudsters manipulate their setup. This ensures that repeat offenders, botnets, and fraudulent users are accurately identified—no matter how many times they try to disguise themselves.

Additionally, businesses no longer need complex coding expertise to deploy fraud prevention. Sensfrx offers plug-and-play integrations for WHMCS, WordPress, and Blesta, enabling fraud protection without lengthy developer involvement.

Most fraud solutions operate as a black box, leaving businesses guessing about decisions. Sensfrx changes this with fully configurable rules, allowing companies to customize fraud detection to their specific risk appetite. This transparency and control make Sensfrx a preferred choice for businesses seeking both security and flexibility.”*

How Has Sensfrx Evolved Over Time?

When Sensfrx started, we focused exclusively on Account Takeover (ATO) fraud. However, as fraud tactics evolved, our customers faced major challenges with fake registrations and fraudulent transactions—so we expanded our solutions to New Account Fraud and Transaction Fraud prevention.

Early on, our detection system was rule-based, but businesses wanted transparency and control over fraud decisions. We responded by introducing configurable policies and custom rule creation, which became one of our most popular features.

Integration was another challenge—API-based setups required significant developer effort. To remove this barrier, we built easy-to-install fraud prevention plugins for WHMCS, WordPress, and Blesta, which boosted adoption and customer acquisition.

Finally, speed was a key focus. Fraud decisions needed to be instant. We optimized our AI and reduced decision times to an average of 50-100ms, ensuring real-time fraud detection without slowing down business operations.

Online fraud is constantly evolving. What major trends do you see shaping fraud prevention in 2025?

Fraud prevention in 2025 will be shaped by several key trends as fraudsters adapt to emerging technologies and security measures:

  • Generative AI fraud: Attackers will increasingly use AI-generated deepfakes, synthetic identities, and automated scams to bypass traditional security measures.
  • Automated bot-driven fraud: Fraudulent bot networks will scale their attacks, executing credential stuffing, fake registrations, and transaction fraud with even greater sophistication.
  • AI-powered phishing attacks: Phishing scams will become harder to detect as fraudsters use deepfake voice/video technology and AI-generated emails to trick users.
  • Account Takeover (ATO) escalation: With billions of leaked credentials on the dark web, targeted ATO attacks will rise significantly, bypassing traditional defenses.
  • Real-time fraud mitigation: Fraud detection will move from post-incident reporting to instant, AI-driven decision-making, as businesses prioritize proactive fraud prevention.
  • Stricter privacy regulations: Governments worldwide will enforce stronger data privacy laws, pushing businesses to develop fraud detection methods that comply with these regulations while maintaining security.

With AI-driven fraud attacks becoming more sophisticated, how can businesses stay ahead and protect their digital assets?

As AI-driven fraud attacks grow more sophisticated, businesses must stay ahead with an adaptive, multi-layered approach to fraud prevention:

  • AI-Powered Behavioral Analytics – Instead of relying on static rules, businesses must analyze real-time user interactions, identifying anomalies that signal fraud (e.g., bot-driven behavior, impossible user journeys).
  • Advanced Device & Browser Fingerprinting – Unlike traditional fingerprinting, AI-powered solutions can detect persistent device identities even when fraudsters use VPNs, incognito mode, or emulator-based attacks.
  • Real-time Risk Scoring with AI – AI-driven fraud engines should continuously analyze risk at login, checkout, and throughout the user session, factoring in device intelligence, behavioral insights, and transaction anomalies.
  • Proactive Threat Intelligence – Businesses should integrate global fraud intelligence networks to stay ahead of emerging AI-generated fraud tactics, such as synthetic identity fraud, deepfake KYC bypassing, and AI-enhanced phishing scams.
  • Dynamic & Adaptive Policies – Fraud prevention rules must be adaptive—continuously learning from new fraud patterns and adjusting in real time based on emerging threats.
  • Human + AI Collaboration – While AI excels at detecting patterns and automating decisions, human oversight is critical for handling complex fraud cases, ensuring nuanced decision-making where AI might struggle.

The key to staying ahead is combining AI-driven automation with human expertise, continuously evolving defenses to match the sophistication of AI-powered fraudsters.

Sensfrx helps businesses achieve all of the above with its comprehensive fraud decisioning engine and easy integration via APIs, SDKs, and plugins.

What are the biggest challenges businesses face when implementing fraud prevention solutions, and how does Sensfrx help overcome them?

  • High False Positives – Many fraud tools block legitimate users, frustrating real customers.
  • Lack of Visibility – Businesses struggle to analyze fraud trends and take proactive action.
  • Scalability Issues – Many fraud systems can’t keep up with fast-growing businesses.
  • Complex Integration – Setting up fraud prevention often requires technical expertise and developer time.

Looking ahead, what innovations or advancements in fraud detection excite you the most, and where do you see the industry heading in the next five years?

In the next five years, fraud prevention will be AI-driven, privacy-focused, and increasingly adaptive. Some exciting advancements include:

  • AI-Driven Fraud Detection Models – Leveraging machine learning to detect fraud patterns faster and adapt to new attack techniques in real time.
